white trash, pimples, braces, skull caps, feathered roach clips,..

...wannabees, people from Wisconsin, half-shirts, farm kids, dangly earrings, bad tattoos, and so on. All things I am sure to see at the State Fair tonight. I think I might eat a foot-long corn dog. Probably not cheese curds though. On the midway, I'll win a poster of 3 g-stringed chicks standing in the back of a pick-up truck. It will be called "Haulin' Ass 3." Can't wait.

Jacko Turns 50

Like my father said to me this morning, "Proof that in America, if you have money, you can truly be whatever you want to be. Start out a normal black child and grow up to be a creepy old white dude."

I cant stay away

Got a minute, so here goes...I have been and will continue to drink Pepsi for the duration of CM Punk's title reign...I have to wear a lanyard at my new job. I will remind everyone that lanyards are the fanny pack of the 90's. It's now 2008 people! Not cool. Oh well, I can handle it. If anyone can make a lanyard look good, it will be me...The Olympics were bomb dizzle...do people still say bomb dizzle? I don't believe-that until just now- that I've said bomb dizzle is quite some time...Looking forward to the new 90210. With One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl and now 90210, the CWs got a lock down on this shit...As of last weekend, Lance is officially a state BMX champion! Not sure on the details yet. When I know, you'll know...The actor that I spotted at the Seward Cafe was Mark Webber. I instantly recognized him from Bomb The System. Later, after a little research, I realized he was the kid from Storytelling and others too. Makes sense that it was him, as he is from Mpls and was in town for this. Interview here. I nodded to him as if to say "Yeah, I recognize you, Mr. Famous. Now don't blow my cover." He nodded back as if to say "From one famous guy to another, I wouldn't even think of it." I must admit, he looked like hell...Speaking of hell, I gotta get the hell outta here...Don't get used to it, I'm not necessarily back just yet...

"Can you see me now?!?!"

Yes Brock, we can definitely see you now.

UFC 87: Seek & Destroy~Target Center, Mpls MN~last night!

If I never see another Affliction or Tapout shirt again, I'll be a happy man. Same goes for One More Round, Cage Fighter, Full Contact Fighter or UFC shirts. Dudes definitely didn't follow the "don't wear the Steve Miller tee shirt to the Steve Miller concert" rule on this one. For chrissakes, what a bunch of clones. As Joe J exasperatedly stated "We cant possibly be the only four guyss that get it...can we?!" Apparently so Joe, apparently so. A couple of jack-asses sitting behind us were discussing how they would've scored each round after every fight. Come on now, you dipshits. You're killing my buzz! Jason "the Athlete" McDonald, GSP, Roger Huerta and Brock Lesnar were all super over with the crowd. Lots of Canadians in the house. Much to my disappointment both McDonald and Huerta lost. McDonald in an excellent jujitsu match to Damian Maia and Huerta in a great battle to Kenny Florian. Manny Gamburyan said in his pre-fight interview that he was gonna come out and knock out Rob Emerson and then go party. Instead "Manvil" came out and got knocked-the-fuck out in like 12 seconds or something. I wonder if he still went and partied? Brock Lesnar brutalized Kieth Herring with a fantastic punch to the face and followed it up with a nice football style tackle. Then just ruled him for three straight rounds. Great pro-wrestling style promo and shenanigans afterwards. Georges St. Pierre is the man! Jon Fitch hung in there but holy shit, did he take a beating. Good fight. We counted our beer consumption in ounces. Joe J and Matt drank about 216oz or so each. I think mine was only like 120. Joe P being the driver and all, came in around 72oz. Divide by 12 and you'll figure out about how many cans that would be for each of us. The following is a transcript of the series of text messages I sent my brother throughout the night...of which he said he got better information than from than he did from Sherdog.com. So there you go everybody. Ahhh...oh yeah, the texts:

1)Ken-Flo decision over Huerta in 3. Good fight. Disappointing showing by Huerta. K-Flo is good.

2)Hureta was over huge though as they announced him as fighting out of Mpls. Too bad he lost. Manny G just got knocked out in 12 seconds!

3)Brock is coming out to Motley Crew Shout at the Devil!

4)Brock decision in 3. A brutal pummeling. Pro Wrestling theatrics at the end. Lasso dance!

5)GSP decision in 5. Dominating performance. Similar to Faber vs. Pulver.

6)Just got home. What and ordeal. Joe J is a complete wreck!

Sun Kist

Randumb Thizzoughts...Summer aint no bummer...the Dome Dog aint as good as it looks...I never would have thought to put mayo and cheese on corn. I aint mad at it though. It's damn good...I just used 'aint' in 3 out of 4 of the last sentences. That probably makes me sound really stupid..."Yes, those are maggots."...Ice cream trucks rule...Do they owe us a living? Of course they do, of course they do, of course they fuckin' do!...Speaking of...I got a new job. I finally got a job in rock-n-roll...or the education of rock-n-roll, that is...but rock-n-roll nonetheless. My boss has huge spacers in his ears and a "cant help but stare at it" style lip-ring. The owner was in Slave Raider. It's still corporate America but the kind of corporate America where I can wear jeans and sneakers. Lot to learn though. Blog may go on hiatus while I figure this shit out. I can hear you all crying now, I know. Best part is, I can ride my bike to work! Worst case scenario, I take the bus. Goodbye to sitting in traffic. Goodbye gas prices. Goodbye car insurance. Sssshhhh, keep that last part quiet...UFC at the Target Center tomorrow night. Matt, Joe P, Joe J and I will be there. I predict Georges St. Pierre, Brock Lesnar and Roger Huerta all get victories. I could care less if Brock wins or loses. However, Brock winning will be good for business, as they can create a star in the heavyweight division, where there is currently a shortage. I'll be disappointed if GSP and Huerta don't win, but less so if they have good fights. Meeting up with my awesome friend Schindeldecker today after work. Hopefully I can talk her into going to the weigh-ins. I'm thinking muscular dudes stripping down to their underwear might convince her...Did I mention the Dome Dog isn't as good as it looks?...
